Born in San Francisco California, Steve was the co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Apple and formerly Pixar. He was very intelligent and innovative, and he developed a great interest in technology which made him take a job at Atari Inc which was then a leading video games manufacturer. As time went by friendship developed between him and Steve Wozniak who was his fellow designer. He took off for India seeking for spiritual enlightenment after saving some money. When he came back, he convinced Wozniak to quit his job at Hewlett- Packard that he may join him in his venture concerning personal computers. To raise capital, they had to sell scientific calculators. Jobs and Wozniak founded Apple Computer in 1976 in the Jobs family garage. They funded their entrepreneurial venture by selling some of the items they owned. Jobs sold his Volkswagen bus while Wozniak sold his scientific calculator that he loved so much.
