I believe writers write about given topics for various reasons. Some writers or authors may write to provide information on a topic, persuading the readers to his/her viewpoint on a topic they are passionate about, and others may write to entertain their intended audience with a story they have created. Whatever the intended purpose is, writers try to draw their readers in whether for gaining knowledge, or escaping into a different world for a period of time. When writers are able to provide information it can allow others to gain knowledge on that topic, become more well-versed in the subject matter, or determine if they agree with the specific viewpoint at all. While in this course I hope to expand my literary skills by increasing my knowledge of various literature,
