DECONSTRUCTION ASSIGNMENT 2 Deconstruction Assignment The article examines the critical responsibilities that are played by the United States deportation as well as detention apparatus in coming up with the contemporary imaginaries of the homeland security. The argument in the article is that the system of detention works performativity through substantiating a paradoxical association between insecurity and security for the employees in the system. The study that was carried out in Ecuador with the detainees’ families, and the extradited migrants, examined the behavior of the detained persons and the experiences of those that are detained. The data obtained indicates that the detention system of US becomes an essential part of the administration apparatus behind imaginaries of the homeland security. The reason is that all the workers are disciplined by the persistent repetition
