Herbal Medication: Pros 1) A natural healing process 2) Cost effective 3) Can be used by both human and animals IV. Herbal Medication: Cons 1) Increases the risk of respiratory illness. (such as chronic bronchitis, chronic coughing, wheezing, and higher than normal levels of sputum. 2) Smoking Marijuana can damage lungs in the long term, because smokers tend to hold their breath longer and inhale more deeply. 3) Marijuana raises the users heart rate. (Dangerous for the people who have risk factors like heart disease, or arrhythmias (an abnormal heart rhythm).
