1 HR Roles Mind Map Human Resources Recruiter The primary role and responsibility of the Human Resources Recruiter is to fill all open positions within the organization with qualified candidates well suited to their roles. The Human Resources Recruiter will work with managers and directors of various departments to create detailed job descriptions for each position within a department. The Human Resources Recruiter will create and document a recruitment and interview plan for each open position within the organization and will conduct continuous follow up with managers and directors to evaluate the successfulness of those plans. The Human Resources Recruiter will be able to develop a strong network of passive qualified candidates in order to have a selection of possible matches as positions become open. The Human Resources Recruiter will work to stay abreast and informed of current and new strategies and sources for candidate recruiting and will utilize all platforms and media available for that purpose. The Human Resources Recruiter will manage all content on the careers section of the company’s website and will be responsible for posting and removing positions as they open and close. The Human Resources Recruiter will review all applications to determine if they meet the requirements for the position, and if they do, the recruiter will assist the hiring manager will setting up and conducting interviews. If they do not, the Recruiter will compose a rejection letter to the candidate. When a candidate is selected for employment by a hiring manager, the recruiter will prepare and send the offer package and work as the liaison between the hiring manager and the candidate through the employment acceptance process.
