For this topic I’m going to choose why I see value in studying the Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha for Old Testament study. I know that some people have questioned the authenticity of these books some have said there lies and have no place when it comes to the teachings of the bible, so what better way to understand them and to form our own opinion unless we study them for ourselves. If we can learn as much as we can when it comes to the word of God that will help us with our knowledge and will help us so we can be better prepared to share His word with the world. One reason I believe that we need to study these books is that they will help us to gain a greater understanding of the origins of Christianity. My thoughts are this, I believe for me it’s important that I have a good understanding of what people’s religious beliefs are and why they believe the way they do. I want to be able to talk to people and share with them my views when it comes to the Bible, for that
