The movie Rocky is inspirational and is in the genre of action/sports. It is about a small-time boxer who is given a rare opportunity every fighter wants; to win and become the heavyweight boxing champion. To become the champion, Rocky must fight Apollo Creed. So an exhibition bout was set up, and Rocky is given the dream of a lifetime. Rocky doubts his abilities as a boxer until a woman (Adrian) he met inspired him and gave him the courage to enter the ring. Rocky is an inconsistent fighter who is down on his luck who wants to make a name for himself by earning respect from others. In the end, Rocky shocks himself and the world by taking Apollo Creed to the last round. Apollo won by a unanimous decision, but Rocky earned the respect he sought out for from others. The type of lighting used in the film is low-key lighting. According to Goodykoontz & Jacobs (2014), low-key lighting is “High-contrast lighting dominated by deep shadows with a few bright highlights” (Section 6.3).

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
