Itt was started mainly to provide habitat to the less fortunate. b) How long has it existed? it has been serving the community for the last 29 years within Waterloo region c) Whom do they serve? It serves the community by providing for the less fortunate in building habitats and providing housing requirements in the Waterloo region. d) What might you want to do at this organization? I would like to work with team who reach out to the less fortunate, advise them on importance of engaging in small economic activities such as farming so as to be able get some income as well as getting basic supplies such as vegetables for household consumption. I would also wish to undertake counselling with special groups such as the ones who have been under treatment, the orphans ,the widows, sexually abused among others. This would help them have a positive view of life and open up whenever they have problems so that they get the assistance from the organization. SOCIOLOGY 2 sustainable food source other than donating food directly. This will enable the less fortunate get a sustainable source of income e) What challenges might you encounter and how you might deal with these challenges? In some cases the target groups are not willing to open up and seek for assistance. Providing assistance to such people is hard. Some vulnerable groups such are widespread across the community in Ontario region and reaching to every individual is quite demanding in terms of time and resources which may not be provided adequately by the organization hence reaching out to every individual will be hard. Inadequate finances to reach all the affected groups. I can remedy this by coming up with a good work plan and strategy so as to be able to source better funding for adequate service to the community.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
