For each of the following four cases, explain why you would either approve or disapprove the proposed research experiments. Evaluate each proposal based on the four main principles of ethical research provided in this lesson. Every research experiment must follow all four principles to be considered ethical. 1. I would deny this study because of it’s use of animal cruelty.While the animals can not give their own consent,they are still being harmed. The proposal suggests that students would operate and carry out some form of a lobotomy on the rats to see what would happen in a closed course environment without the function of that part of the brain. 2. I would allow this study under certain conditions.I would require that the animals get background checks so the shelter knows for sure whether or not they have a family and that the animals be anesthetized,monitored throughout the study,and given a good home if they survive with no complications.This would appease the activists and students,but it also
