Week 4 Template Quantitative Qualitative This study was conducted in Seoul, South Korea. The samples included 970 female nurses from 47 different nursing units. The units ranged from oncology to intensive care. The sample of this research included thirteen migrant of Nigeria that resided in the United States. They were over the age of 18 and was able to write and read English.

There were 5 different groups, outpatient, OR, ICU, oncology and general units. They broke down the perpetrator into five group also, the patient, family, other nurses, managers, and physicians. Then they explored the types of violence and nursing unit by the number of nurse who experienced violence according to perpetrator. There was two focus group that was set up. Two weeks prior to the first meeting they were given cameras to take photos of what they considered healthy and unhealthy. Two days prior to the meeting they were asked to choose four pictures Independent: Workplace violence Dependent: types of violence, distribution of perpetrators, and relationships o f work demands, trust and justice. Independent: Immigrants eating and physical activity Dependent: perception and practice, influence of cultural beliefs, the role of health care provider, and photovoice. Convenience sampling was used in this study. Word of mouth was used for this study, also known as the snowball method. There was a survey questionnaire called Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire Cameras were used to take pictures of healthy and unhealthy eating habits. Also they used focus group to discuss the photos, health issues and concerns.
