I have chosen The Matrix ; it was released in 1999. The movie clip was when Keanu Reeves (Neo) and Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus) was sitting by the fireplace. In this scene, low-key lighting is used to enhance the film's shadowy effects to make the movie dramatic and exciting. This scene shows the beginning before Neo discovers his capabilities. Here, Morpheus give Neo two choices; either take the blue pill or the red pill. If Neo chooses the blue pill, he wakes up and believes what he wants to believe. If he chooses the red pill, he finds out what the Matrix is. Moreover, Morpheus explains to Neo that he is a slave created my machines living in a program and gives him a choice to discover the truth. The cinematography in the film was employed effectively. In this scene, the lighting was dark which indicates the most important part of the movie. Also, the lighting sets the mood; the infusion of the dark colors (i.e. clothes worn by both characters) gave me a visual cue of power.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
