CMPS 182 Final Exam Review Notes Summer 2017 The final exam will be on Thursday, August 31, in the classroom, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM (2 hours total). As with the midterm, everything in the slides and assigned sections of the textb ook is “fair game” , with the exception of a few things that are explicitly noted below, and things that are explicitly noted in the slides as being “out of scope” . The exam will be primarily oriented around the material in the slides and what was covered in homeworks and projects. The slides are largely in sync with the book, but keep in mind that the slides aren’t necessarily self-explanatory. There are more details in the book, and some nice explanations and examples. The questions will be similar to those on the midterm: true/false, multiple-choice, and short answers. The practice questions documents are meant to give a representative sample of each type of question. The exam will be cumulative, with roughly 50% content that came before the midterm, and 50% content that came after. One side of a single sheet of paper (8.5” x 11”) will be allowed as a “ notes sheet”.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
