Journal Entry #2 The items that I decided to share with my journal partner are as follows, I am meticulous, I am responsible, I am indecisive, I am independent, and lastly I am careful. I decided to share these items rather than other items to influence the way my partner saw me. I choosing certain items to share it can manipulate the way that someone else sees you. You can use this manipulation to make the person see you as you want them to see you. For example I listed that I was shy and independent, however I only shared that I was independent because it causes someone to see you as strong rather than shy, even though being shy often leads to independence. The selections that I chose to share about myself show that I want to be looked at as someone who is capable of taking care of themselves. I chose these items because the person I am sharing with, my mom, is someone who has raised me and still is, but it is my job to show her that she has nearly completed her job as a mother.
