Chapter 6 Review Assignment: The Powers of the Presidency and The President’s Administration 1. What are executive orders? Executive Orders are orders giving by the president like a law that are enforced like laws that typically have to deal with policies. 2. How can a president use executive privilege? If he wants to keep something to himself he can use executive privilege to have the right to keep it not to the public or to a judge if needed. 3. What is an executive agreement? Agreements with president and other foreign leaders. 4. What are the diplomatic powers of the president? It basicly so realizing that a new country exists or a new territory being a country. 5. What are the military powers of the president? The president can call out troops to a location where ever, but he needs an approval from Congress eventually. 6. How does the president exercise legislative powers? The president can use the power of a veto, and he can create a new idea for a law, but it still has to come through Congress.
