Unformatted text preview: According to Boston.com “U.S. Divorce Rate Falls to Lowest Level since 1970, But Why ?”…“Some experts say relationships are as unstable as ever -- and divorces are down primarily because more couples live together without marrying.” Cohabitation being the reason for divorce rates decreasing since the past it crazy, because in my opinion I think that it is very important and that all couples should try to cohabitate if they can even if it is just for a little while. I think it is good that couples are cohabitating and realizing that them getting married is not a good idea anymore. I think in the long run it is saving people a lot of time and money. According to Iowa Family Law “Divorce rates lowest since 1970” “The national divorce rate has dropped from 5.3 divorces per 1,000 people at its peak in 1981 to 3.6 per 1,000 people, the lowest rate since 1970.” These numbers are so good in my opinion and I hope that they continue to drop because I think it is a good thing for society and for all couples...
