I have selected to present the benefits of the internet due to the fact that it’s a part of my life 24 hour day. The internet is use to communicate with different parts of the country. The internet is very important tool in todays American household. I use the internet for school, business, and work. For Example: * Get on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) * Check & Received Email * Talk to online Tech & Shopping Being a mother and full-time student the internet have become the important tool in my household. The internet have everything a person need. No one have to get a book anymore from the library. Because you can download it from the internet. With the internet I can send and receive all kinds of information. Today more people are on the internet than anywhere else so if you want to reach family, friends, and customer just go online. (BBN) unveils the final version of the Interface Message Processor (IMP) specifications. BBN wins ARPANET contract. 1969: On Oct. 29, UCLA’s Network Measurement Center, Stanford Research Institute (SRI) 1972: BBN’s Ray Tomlinson introduces network email. The Internetworking Working Group (INWG) forms to address need for establishing standard protocols.
