CRIME & DRAMA 2Brian De Palma film Scarface (1983) is an action gangster movie that depicts a life style of a Cuban refugee Tony Montana (Al Pacino) who arrives in 1980s Miami with nothing and rises to become a powerful drug kingpin. In many instincts, the summary of Scarface (1983) makes the theme of the movie which is crime and drama, capturing the audience attention. With gangsters having their own moral codes, and some appeared to be a greater threat to other gangsters than to law-abiding citizens. Goodykoontz, B., & Jacobs, C. P. (2017). As in Goodfellas (1990) and Scarface (1983) gangster’s movies have always captured viewers’ attention with great cinematography, lighting, acting style techniques, one example of great cinematography in Scarface (1983) comes from the concept of the crime and drama that is attached to the movie, one example of this in this movie that shows this key element comes from the infamous shower scene, that shows Tony Montana with a chain around his neck witnessing his friend arm being cut off. This part of the film shows great techniques of cinematography, as
