Carbon footprint – is t he total amount of greenhouse gases produced to directly and indirectly support human activities, usually expressed in equivalent tons of carbon dioxide 2. Carbon trading - is an exchange of credits between nations designed to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide. 3. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model. 4. Ecosystem - is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment like air, water and mineral soil, interacting as a system. 5. Emission trading - is a government-mandated, market-based approach to controlling pollution by providing economic incentives for achieving reductions in the emissions of pollutants. 6. Environmental audit - an assessment of the extent to which an organization is observing practices that seek to minimize harm to the environment. 7. Green – is the color between blue and yellow in the spectrum; colored like grass or emeralds. It is also a term used to describe a cleaner way of living. 8. Greenwashing - is a form of spin in which green PR or green marketing is deceptively used to promote the perception that an organization's products, aims or policies are environmentally friendly. 9. Life cycle analysis - is the systematic approach of looking at a product's complete life cycle , from raw materials to final disposal of the product.
