(b) Are you concurrently taking ECE 310 “Introduction to Probability and Random Signals”? 2. Problem 2.1 in Professor Fine’s notes. 3. Problem 2.2 in Professor Fine’s notes. 4. Problem 2.3 in Professor Fine’s notes. Hint: look carefully at the lower limit in the summation. 5. Problem 2.7 in Professor Fine’s notes. 6. Problem 2.13 in Professor Fine’s notes. 7. The sole purpose of this problem is to get everyone thinking about Matlab. Consider the following differential equation and initial condition: τ d y d t + y ( t ) = (1) y (0) = y . (2) (a) What is the solution of this differential equation and initial condition? (b) Write a Matlab function that can solve this differential equation for arbitrary values of τ and y , which are inputs to the function. Use a Matlab function like ode45 .
