1Amanda Drapiewski March 12, 2007 Feature Story About Our Spring Breaks 773-401-2440 drapiews@msu.edu Instead of soaking up the sun or snowboarding over Spring Break, some Michigan State University students thought home was the best option. Most of the MSU students left Friday after their classes. Many also left Thursday for plane reservations or car pools. “I left Thursday night because I had no Friday classes. Plus, night driving to Chicago is so much better because no one is on the road,” said sophomore journalism major Amanda Drapiewski. Chicago is one of those cities that people cannot be bored with. Sure the traffic jams and construction cannot be fun, but being in the downtown atmosphere can be amazing. Since Amanda is from Chicago, she loves going out to eat, exploring different restaurants. One of her particular favorites is Mike Ditka’s Restaurant. If customers are lucky, “Da Coach” actually shows up to his restaurant and greets his guests. Lucky enough, Amanda got to
