Its purpose is to help you develop skills that will enable you to cope with the challenges that you will face in a vocational training program and in the workplace. Specific topics include: looking at perceptions and assumptions; examining goals and setting them; defining priorities; strategies for time management; interpersonal relations; assessing your strengths and weaknesses; skills for getting and keeping a job; and an overview of what is required to be a successful student at Shoreline Community College. Attendance Policy Every instructor has one. It is a myth that once you get to college you don’t have to go to class. Sure, you don’t need a hall or bathroom pass, but you are expected to attend class regularly. In the CEO program we are very strict about this. Part of the purpose of this class is to instill the discipline and follow-through required for success in college and in the workplace –that means being in class! Also, if you are not in class you are missing out on class work and assignments that will affect your final grade.
SECTION II.B. APPENDICES 100 You will receive 10 points per day for attendance.
