Course Syllabus MO250 MEDICAL RECORDS MANAGEMENT COURSE INFORMATION Course Title:MEDICAL RECORDS MANAGEMENT Credit Hours:3Prerequisites:None COURSE DESCRIPTION Students are familiarized with the content, format, and management of the medical health record including the utilization of the electronic medical record. Students compare and evaluate the electronic medical record with the traditional printed medical record. Students evaluate the reliability and accuracy of data found in the medical record. LEARNING OUTCOMES By the end of this course, you should be able to: MO250-1: Compare the electronic health record to the printed medical record. MO250-2: Identify the various components of the medical record. MO250-3: Classify the data found in the medical record. MO250-4: Modify the data found in the medical record.
