While it does seem like the choice that would avoid the most confrontation and uncomfortable situations, it does not solve the problem. The fact is that the boss is still wasting company resources on something that is inappropriate. If he is not stopped than someone who is offended by this my find out and sue the company. Option B would be the best choice. It gives your boss a warning that you know what he is doing and that it is wrong. The boss may receive your message and refrain from doing it in the future.
