This, if handled correctly, can actually improve the company and strengthen its overall performance. It allows for employees who maybe do need to improve a warning and the tools that they need to do so. However, the way that this is presented to those employees should be handled delicately. It should be explained to them in a way that is open and non threatening. Option A is the worst of the tree choices. It will make the employees feel attacked and they might retaliate. They could sue or simply try to sabotage the company before they leave. Also, it will be hard to find employees who want to work for the company because no one wants to work somewhere were they always feel as though they have to out perform their coworkers or get fired. ...
