A public relations director should meet with the CEO that posted the blog message and try to explain how this could potentially become a problem. Not only will this keep the CEO from feeling attacked (rather than going behind their back to fix the situation), but it will also mean more to the general public and conference exhibitors. The CEO could state that his true meaning did not come across well because of the medium(blog) that he chose. Option C would be the worst choice out of the three options. Having the company lawyers force the CEO to remove the message would most defiantly cause internal unrest within the company. The CEO would feel attacked and they might find other mediums to express their views, maybe some of which are not so easily changed. ...
