3 levels of culture that exist in The Dobe Ju/’hoansi The 3 levels of culture consist of suprastructure, structure , and infrastructure . Suprastructure is a domain of beliefs and ideology. It is an organized collected of ideas which unify the people under a common belief. -believed in a high god -a lesser god -minor animal spirits -//ganagwasi the ghost of the recently deceased -Sought knowledge of healers -people would enter trances -language the fact that they all complain kept everyone on the same level Structure(culture) consists of the domain of social organization by gender, race, social status, or kinship. Kinship is the most direct form of social organization in Dobe Society. Gender also influences social organization. Small groups of family usually will live together. Kinship and social organization in the Dobe society involve a great of terminology and are referenced in the names of people.
