If so, can you give an example of it? 8) If you could give any advice to a future HR professional what would it be? 9) What does career progression look like within the business unit for which you are hiring at your company? 10) During a phone screen, what are recruiters seeking to learn about? What information a re they trying to obtain to get to the next stage in the process ? 11) How would you describe your company’s culture? 12) How does your company keep your employees motivated? 13) How do you adjust your training techniques to fit a specific employee’s needs? For example, if an employee is more of a visual learner opposed to being a hands-on worker and vice versa. 14) What is the best advice that you could give to a new manager? 15) For any of the speakers, when you first started to work for your first company, was the whole process of hiring employees and seeing those employees getting fire or let go, what was your perspective? Since you see an employee from the beginning when they first apply to the job, interview, training, working and after unfortunate you see their file on the terminated files. What do you feel at that very moment? 16) How do you keep up with all the new laws that are coming in or change for job force? I’m asking because I worked temporary for a human resource company that was an agency who hire people to work for the airport. Constantly I would see the laws changing and the lady’s that worked for the human resource, my question is how do you keep with those laws? How do you not make a mistake that can be illegal since the laws are always changing constantly? 17) What are your strengths and weaknesses as an HR professional? 18) What would you measure to determine whether the HR department was doing an effective job for the company?
