Vietnam. 1961-2 Geneva Accords: US agree not to send foreign troops to the area. 2 Laotian Governments fight for power. Pathet Lao, Communist, support by Soviet Union and China Royal Lao: Anti-communist insurgency founded and trained by US government since 1955.
