TOMATO PLANT NETWORK SYSTEM 2 Executive Summary Companies need computer networks for various reasons that enable efficiency in business operations and other work. It is often a need for companies to have an intranet for easy and efficient passing of information, documents and files between the departments easily and an internet to connect to the outside world. The connection to the internet enables communication with the stakeholders, and the outside world communicating with the company. Through the websites the visitors can see the goods and services provided by the company, or even potential employees making applications through the online portals. Apart from communication through the internet possible, a network ought to have in-built security features to prevent malware and suspicious activity that may happen over the network. And if the network has already compromised the organisation ought to have policies set to help deal with the cyber-attack. The task involves setting up and installation of a computer network and servers that will support the different functions for a small tomato packing plant. The company needs the computer network that connects it to the internet while ensuring security of its information assets. The internal network is fully configured but the company needs a forward facing Web Server since the National Broadband Network has been enabled in the locality, and high speed internet connection is possible. This paper therefore outlines the development of the network, and the policies governing various operations in the network. Network diagrams are developed and other supporting evidences to demonstrate the efficiency of the network in satisfying the company’s needs.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
