2 Characteristics of Survival Studies (time-to-event analysis): 1. Outcome measured over time 2. Limited duration of study - study ends before outcome measured in all subjects; this is called censoring and is the distinguishing feature of a clinical survival study 3. Not everyone enters trial at the same time 4. Some people leave trial - they may stop participating; die of other causes Examples: 1. Survival times of cancer patients from treatment to death 2. Length of time from operation until failure of transplanted organ 3. Lifetime of products until failure (reliability analysis) Which Statistical Test?
