At the conclusion of this this report, you will have a clearer understanding of what led to the proposal, the work completed to date, any obstacles I have come across, and the work still that remains to be accomplished. Background The internet usage has increased at Citizen’s Library and the staff is already short-handed due to budget cuts. Citizen’s requires its patrons to only utilize the computers available for one hour if another patron is waiting for a chance to work on the computer. This monitoring of patrons is making it even harder for the staff to do their jobs. I propose that Citizen’s Library use computer software that will monitor the computer usage and possibly eliminate conflicts over computer time.
