What is the New Testament? Question seems to have an obvious answer NT is the second, Christian part of the  Bible that follows the Hebrew Bible, the  sacred scriptures of Judaism that  Christians often call the Old Testament. NT=27 writings regarded by Christians as  scripture, writings formally accepted as  biblical by the church and used as  especially sacred and authoritative.
