Google is finally introducing their “Android” software; this is a software program that cell phone companies use as their operating system. If we were to invest in the Android OS it would bring a lot of new technologies. The G1’s technology includes standard features that are on all “smart” phones such as text, web browsing, full keypad, email, and Bluetooth capability but also includes built-in GPS, touch screen, and allows our employees to unlock it by drawing on the screen. Google is opening the operating system to third party creators who can develop their own products to add to Android, this is a chance for people to create their own programs. With every new technology there are new benefits and risks. The android is innovative and advanced. With investing in this product we will take on the many benefits this product has to offer.
