What concurrency control is and what role it plays in maintaining the database’s integrity What locking methods are and how they work? How stamping methods are used for concurrency control How optimistic methods are used for concurrency control How database recovery management is used to maintain database integrity The following sections are important: Section 12.1: What is a transaction ­ you need to be able to explain using appropriate examples. You must also identify its properties and be able to utilise the transaction log. Section 12.2 ­ Section 12.3: Concurrency control is very important and you need to understand the different issues surrounding concurrency. Discuss how concurrency control is achieved using
