Less rigid classes The west was more feminists since they accepted these legal rights for women. - Concern about issues of misplaced clothing and city problems such as poverty and diseases Political: State-building, expansion, and conflict -Political structures and forms of governance -Empires -Nation and nationalism -Revolts and revolutions -Regional, trans-regional, and global structures/organizations Global Economic and Political currents Free trade led to changes in government-to-government aid programs. Rapid growth of democratic institutions becoming more common and personal freedom. - Most people lived in democratic states - Elections became a peaceful way to settle differences in the country - Democracies encouraged political moderation. Asian democracies were more stable. Despite corruption and natural disasters, elections were held on candidates left peacefully and was accepted India continued to be rule by the Congress Party while in sub-Saharan Africa, democracy had mixed results for it was more corrupted however nationalist instead of communicate beneficial.
