Review Questions for Chapter 1 Geography 1. Understanding the “geographic perspective” is crucial to geographic analysis because it is important to realize that when something happens in one area of geography in an area of the world it affects one or more other areas of geography and areas of the world. Natural disaster doesn’t just affect the people in the area of the disaster by ruining their homes, but also in their business, education and the way that the land now looks. If also affects people across the globe. When businesses shut down because of disasters then people in other countries cannot receive the goods that they need from abroad. For example: If there was a huge natural disaster that took one of Apple’s(Macintoshes) biggest factories out then there would be a shortage of IPhone, IPad, and Laptops worldwide. The workers laid off would have to find a job or their family would go hungry.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
