IT 210: Business Systems Analysis 2 Final Paper Problem Statement I am a full-time employee that works for a small brick-and-mortar business that specializes in selling designer clothes, shoes and handbags. In addition, we also offer discounted designer clothing and accessories for both men and women. The problem our business has is we have a basic website with limited products available, and our customers can only purchase their items in store. Due to this, we are not able to compete with other competitors and are unable to reach customers who shop online for their products. Two Technologies For this business systems analysis, we are asked to choose two technologies, the ones that have been chosen are big data with knowledge management and business analytics with business intelligent solutions. Business Requirements Objectives The main goal for this project is to implement new technology in the online presence. By doing so, it would promote growth within the company and become more customer focused. Project Description The business owner of this small brick and mortar company is seeking is to promote growth and with an online presence and to become more customer focused. She also wants to streamline the business process involved in integrating a brick-and-mortar business with an e- business. She is aware that there might be potential consumer privacy and security concerns associated with this new change, and wants to ensure that company data is protected internally as well. She hopes that the business’s suppliers and technology vendors will do the same. The

Currently, the physical location struggles with managing customer information and does not have a reporting tool to help management make informed decisions. (Southern New Hampshire University, 2017). My job as an employee of this small brick-and-mortar business is to research two different technologies and the business market competitors (Bluefly, Zappos, Kohl’s, Macy’s, HauteLook, Nordstrom Rack and Lyst) that use technologies and to make a recommendation on the technology solution that I feel would be the best solution for this company in expanding its business. The desired results at the end of the project will be that this small brick-and-mortar business will succeed in selling their products to customers with the use of a website that provides ways of online shopping, shipping and payment processing. It’s important for this business owner to consider implementing this new

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
