Surname 1 The Art Work Name Institution Instructor Date Danfur 1 (2003) Danfur 1 is peace of art that is 2 dimensional. The art is made of water colors that are painted on canvas. The art very details as it has 5 objects as its subject of matter. In the art, there are rocks which are evident are the bottom of the art and the art is an illustration of a view point that captures the horizons. The art is in a format of portrait layout style. The lines that exist in the art are few blacks ones describing the edge of the trees and the line that separates the sky from the water, probably a sea. The lines imply the edges of the trees, the definition of the rock images and the separation of the sky to the sea. The lines in this art are 1 dimensional and they define moving points in spaces as well as definition of the boundaries. When looking at the art, it appears to me that the piece has two aspects of flow throughout the work. The art has a triangle flow basing the view from the bottom to the top, and still the triangle flow is from the rocks to the sky which emphasizes that the art is based on the horizon and plus the objects in the vicinity. The horizon line just below the lower third of the art has similar hue and value to the ones found on the tree trunks. The portrait has distinct colors as green, yellow, red, black, blue, brown, purple, and orange. Defining each color in the art, we are going to have the yellow and the red colors on the middle center of the portrait.
