Due on Blackboard before 8:00 am on Friday, September 29th. The important notes for this homework assignment are as printed on Homework 1. Consider the inversion of the slider-crank mechanism shown in Example 3.3, see Figure 3.10(a), page 121. Note that the input crank 2 is denoted as EA (where 2 EA R 3 inches ) and for the given posture the input crank angle o 2 30 . Also note that the angle between link 3 (that is, 3 AB R 2 inches ) and link 4 (that is, the line CF in link 4) is a right angle. At the given input posture o 2 30 , the input crank 2 is rotating with an angular velocity 2 ω 25 rad /s
