If any student class attendance is below 70%, he/she is not allowed to participate in the midterm or final examination. 5 marks are allocated for the students with satisfactory attendance. The basis for awarding marks for attendance will be as per BRACU regulation: Page 1 of 3 Attendance Marks 90% and above 5 85% - 89% 4 80% - 84% 3 75% - 79% 2 70% - 74% 1 Less than 70% 0

BRAC UNIVERSITY Quizzes and Assignments: Quizzes will arrange to judge the improvement of the students. Total 4/5 quizzes will be taken and best 3 of them will be counted. If any student misses to attend the quiz no makeup quiz will be arranged for him/her. Syllabus of respective quiz will be given prior to that quiz. Duration of each quiz will be around 30 minutes. The students will also prepare a presentation related to their course. The topic of the assignment will be announced later.
