Mylaunya Brooks CCJS 342 6980 Crime Scene Investigation (2178) Photography Assignment September 22, 2017 On Friday September 22, 2017 at approximately 1600 hours, police were dispatched to 9815 Bristol Square Lane Apt. 102, Bethesda, MD 20814. Police were responding to a possible burglary. “Burglary is typically defined as the unlawful entry into almost any structure with the intent to commit any crime inside” (FindLaw,2017). Upon arrival, the police saw resident Stephanie Williams frantically crying outside. Police approached her and proceeded to ask her what had happened. She explained that while at work, she was notified by her home security company that one of the alarms had been triggered. Ms. Williams was told by police to see if she can stay with someone while her residents was being investigated. Incident Overview At approximately 1646, I walked around to the rear of the residents. I discovered that the back door was open and the locks had been tampered with. I began to document the crime scene. I took several photographs, wrote down very detailed notes, and did a sketch of the room were the crime took place. The photos were taken using a Nikon - D810A DSLR Camera. Midrange and
