CSc 103 Midterm Exam Review General Remarks Format. The exam will consist of short answer questions. There will most likely be a few “what is the output of the following code?” kinds of problems. The biggest part of the exam, however, are questions that ask you to write a small segment of code or implement some function. Don’t panic – I won’t ask you to do something as massive as an entire homework project. These questions will be more like the TODO’s from the lectures. Content. The topics are outlined below, but at a high level, here is what I’m looking for: Do you have a clue about C++? (Compiling programs, datatypes, basic expressions and syntax...) Do you at least know enough to trace C++ programs and predict the output on a given input? Have you developed the ability to procedurally solve problems? That is, can you think about a problem algorithmically, and express that algorithm in something that resem- bles code?

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
