2 Background of the Problem Being fairly new graduate in Marketing with a concentration in Social Media Marketing. Having been employed with the current company called Technology Slate for about 6 months. Currently employed at Technology Slates headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia. One of the brand names that Technology Slate has partnered with in 2012 is Shaka, this company is now experimenting with, developing and launching a series of consumer add-on products that can be attached to smartphones for leading edge applications. Shaka’s initial product is a smartphone based weather tracking station. If all goes well with this launch, other future products could be launched with enhanced GPS/weather apps for amateur golf tournament scoring, recreational tracking/hunting, outback snow-skiing, and other backwoods extreme sports.
