Abortion I believe is something that is not talked about even though the issue is somewhat severe. I believe writing on this issue will allow people to see the severity of the situation and hopefully show them what the right side is in this situation based on Scripture and what God says about it. I believe abortion is just an example of the immorality and corruption humanity seems to show in this day and age. It compels me how much we try to rationalize the situation and make it seem like there is some good when there simply is none. I believe people that have little understanding about abortion and the impact abortion has will be reading this. If the reader or audience has thoroughly read Scripture and they understand Biblical principles then they should take the side of Pro life. If the reader or audience just simply sees a “simple cell” and believes it really doesn’t matter that much and that it’s the person’s body and they can do what they want with it, then they will likely take the side of Pro Choice. I believe there is no common ground in this situation; it’s either one way or the other. The best approach to persuade the reader to taking your side on the matter is simply showing them what Scripture has to say about it and show the effects abortion may even have on the woman’s body. In my opinion, I think an argument needs to be broken down from all angles in order to really persuade the audience in general. You need to show them that you know what you are talking about and that you have thoroughly looked into the situation. Whether I like it or not, I have to come to the reality that not everyone is going to agree with my side and that that’s okay. Some people may not fully disagree with my view on abortion; sometimes it can be contradictory on one little area of the debate. Either way, it’s key to stand my ground and show I believe what I’m saying and be sure that I have facts that are correct and be certain of it. Perhaps the only way to build common ground with the audience is by trying to relate with them and attempt to see their perspective. I side to Pro-Life in this argument because I believe a life is a life, no matter what stage it may be in. I know that abortion is taking a potential life that never made it out of the womb and that even though it may fetus may be inside of the woman’s body, I still don’t believe she has the right to take its life because of the fact its not hers to take. God created us and therefore He solely has the right to take us off this earth in His own time. Our job as God’s creation is to care for the youth of this earth till it is time for them to depart on their own. I want to learn more about the side effects of abortion and be able to show my audience how it is bad not just for the fetus, but for the woman and her body as well. By showing facts from researchers and professionals who can share light on the subject, I can show my audience that I

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
