The focus of this assignment is to discuss the research literature support, identify an appropriate research design approach and sampling method. Students are to attach this completed assignment to their previous assignment from Week 2 by removing the conclusion from the first assignment and add the new information to the same document; using the headings indicated below. Students are to have revised the previous assignment from Week 2 based on faculty feedback for this presentation. C OURSE O UTCOME : This assignment enables the student to meet the following course outcome: CO #4 Develop knowledge related to research and evidence-based practice as a basis for designing and critiquing research studies (PO 1, 2, 6, 9) D UE D ATE Sunday 11:59 PM MT at the end of Week Four T OTAL P OINTS P OSSIBLE : 145 POINTS R EQUIREMENTS Description of the Assignment: This continues the development of a MSN EBP scholarly project by requiring the student to identify the additional elements of the process. Chamberlain College of Nursing NR505 Advanced Research Methods: Evidenced Based Practice Criteria for Content 1. Assignment Revision: The student is to include at the beginning of this assignment the revisions made within the assignment for Week Two. Remove the conclusion from Week Two’s assignment but save it for future use. 2. Research Literature Support: Using the references cited in the Research Critique Table from Week Three Assignment, students discuss the applicable elements of each research study article that directly supports the PICOT/PICo question. Additional references may be added to this section in order to provide a useful review of the literature related to the identified PICOT/PICo question. This section of the proposal is to be presented as Research Literature Support. 3. Theoretical Framework and Change Model: In this section, students select a theoretical framework AND a change model useful to the PICOT/PICo question. The theoretical model maybe nursing or non-nursing but identification of how the selected theoretical model is useful to the PICOT/PICo must be included. The change model must be identified and along with the steps/stages used by the model to implement change. The usefulness of the change model to the PICOT/PICo question is to be presented. References for the theoretical framework and change model are expected.
