How many have been met? 6. Based on this analysis, is Neil’s current behavior pathological (AKA "Abnormal")? 1. Being deviant is committing actions that are out of the norm. Neil being a heterosexual male and dressing up in women’s clothing can be considered out of the norm. 2. Being dysfunctional is behavior being maladaptive. Cargile’s actions were not dysfunctional to his everyday life. He still performed his daily activities such as attending business meetings, church and go to the country club.
