MO4: Assignment Legislative Process Alison Maddox I chose the House of Representatives as my chamber. My personal value was liberty  with the issue of animal rights. My goal in the House of Representatives was to create a bill that  would eventually be passed based on my own personal values on animal rights. I chose the  House of Representatives because I thought based on my chosen value I would get more  support from a smaller district rather than the Senate representing an entire state.  The compromise process involves adding amendments so both the House of  Representatives and the Senate’s values and goals are met or can be met in the middle to  compromise. A bill will never get majority rule if it doesn’t appeal to both parties. You have to be
