109. Award: 1.00 point Problems? Adjust credit for all students. Required information m According Sam McAbee, this study has “important implications for college admission offices and employers, who use personality tests to measure an individual’s capacity for success.” Do you think that this measure would be helpful in assisting colleges to know who would be successful in their studies prior to admission? Why or why not? Responses will vary, but students should understand this is a correlational study. If students recognize that the personality factor does not cause success, but rather it has a positive relationship to success, they will be in a better position to point out the many other variables that may affect student success in college—such as studying, class attendance, courses taken, hours worked, health factors, and so on. Short Answer Learning Objective: Characterize the main methods of personality assessment and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
