About Us Tesla Motors is an American automotive and energy storage company that designs , manufactures, and sells electric cars , electric vehicle powertrain components, and battery products . It was founded in the year 2003 by a group of engineers in Silicon Valley. Our products consist of electric cars, electric vehicles (such as high-speed trains, trams, buses etc.) powertrain components & batteries. The company name was inspired by German born scientist Nikola Tesla, who in 1888 invented an AC induction motor. This invention inspired CEO and Founder Elon Musk to create a vehicle driven by alternating current and thus in 2008, Tesla Motors released its first vehicle, the Tesla Roadster. Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and achieving a range of 245 miles per charge of its lithium ion battery, the Roadster set a new standard for electric mobility. Tesla would sell more than 2,400 Roadsters, now on the road in more than 30 countries. Tesla is not just an automaker, but also a technology and design company with a focus on energy innovation. Mission Our mission is to prove that our environmental friendly electric cars are an efficient and better alternative to gasoline-powered cars. Vision To create the most compelling car company of the 21 st century by driving the world’s transition to electric vehicles. Strategy To build a web-based sales system will allow Tesla Motors to efficiently provide current and future customers the option of purchasing products with ease.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
