ESC/ACU OL1 Portable Flight Planning Software VDD Version 3.3 1. Scope Identification This Version Description Document (VDD) describes version 3.3 of the Portable Flight Planning Software (PFPS) suite. The purpose of version 3.3 is to provide additional capabilities needed by the user. PFPS version 3.3 may be loaded onto PCs which are currently running Microsoft Windows™ 2000 or NT v4.0. Acrobat Reader must be installed to view the PFPS USER's Guide Documentation. This is a new feature in PFPS 3.3 it is a drop down option from the main page in CFPS Under the HELP Menu/Documentation option. The following components are included in the core Portable Flight Planning Software (PFPS) suite: Air Refueling Tool (AR Tool): Air refueling planning aid targeted for the tanker community. Allows planning Enroute and Point Parallel refueling maneuvers on AR Tracks and Anchors (both DAFIF and User-Defined). Combat Airdrop Planning Software (CAPS) : Integrated airdrop planning application providing full CARP and HARP solutions for C-130, C-141, C-17 and C-5 aircraft. Supports all USAF Airdrop communities: AMC, ACC, AFSOC, ANG and USAFR. Supports automated DZ Survey generation and a validated DZ database. Combat Flight Planning Software (CFPS): Automated flight planning program that presents a traditional “Form 70” style planning screen (similar to FPlan). CFPS System Administration (SYSA): Edit default aircraft parameters and system configuration settings for CFPS. (Note: FalconView and individual aircraft software defaults must be set separately.) FalconView: A mapping package that displays various types of maps, imagery and geographically referenced overlays. It supports a worldwide vector database, a TIROS satellite view of the Earth, as well as multiple CADRG/CIB/DTED chart series. FalconView 3.3 integrates with PFPS through the RouteServer. The integration allows users to “get point” data for PFPS by simply clicking on FalconView map or satellite imagery displays. FalconView allows PFPS routes to be plotted and manipulated directly on the map display.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
